Program Content

Part 1A: The CIC Core Programme

This core programme covers the latest in coaching techniques where scholars not only LEARN but put into PRACTICE what they have been taught. This is done through a wide range of highly interactive exercises and practice sessions as well as super-learning methods and experiential techniques. Conducted in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere, scholars are also required to carry out live coaching assignments using the S.P.O.R.TÔ coaching model. Among some of the areas they will learn includes:

  • The Principles of Coaching
    •  History of  Coaching, Benefits of Coaching, Differences between Coaching, Mentoring & Counseling
  • Use of S.P.O.R.T™ Coaching Model to help coachee improve performance, discover personal motivation, clarify goals and identify processes for goal achievement, and initiate effective action
  • How to deal effectively with all behavioral styles, vary coaching approach to meet individual needs
  • Creating coaching environment within an internal corporate organization, in area of work and personal interest
  • Core Coaching Competencies – how to assist the coachee in self-learning rather than being taught or instructed
  • Profiling Tools – Using tested profiling tools to highlight Personal Strengths to unlock a person’s potential and maximize own performance

Part 1B: The CPC Advance Coaching Programme

  • The Art of Asking Questions – 7 powerful questions that help to transform you into a great coach
    •  Challenge perception, beliefs and to help define values
    •  Listening skills – 5 Levels of Listening
  • How to Build Rapport successfully so as to build a deep sense of trust using NLP techniques
  • High Performance Coaching – Enhance talents and work on their strengths to achieve peak performance and better outcome by focusing on the future, to construct vision and set goals
  • Standards of ethical conduct to follow when dealing with clients
  • The 5 Fundamentals to help clients clarify their purpose and goals, and work out actionable processes to achieve  outcome goals
  • How to prepare and commit to building relationship with a real life client immediately – The Profiling
  • Defining own Natural Behavior and ability to exercise flexibility in order to enhance one’s capability to influence clients
  • Developing the ability to profile the interpersonal needs of the clients

Part 2: The CPC Business Programme

The Business Programme’s key objective is to help the scholar be able to start and run a successful coaching business whether full time or part time.

Areas covered include:
Starting Your Own Coaching Business
You will learn how to find your “niche” area and move on to determining the target group of clients, and the opportunities available. In this module the area of Personal Branding and developing your Unique Selling Proposition will be explored and established.

Marketing and Promoting Coaching
The marketing of coaching is a constantly evolving area as the market becomes more innovative. You will learn how you can promote yourself and your business using a variety of tools like a coaching blog, writing of articles and books, etc. A marketing plan template is provided and scholars are required to complete and submit their marketing plan so that coaching in this area can commerce. Scholars will also learn how to prepare a coaching agreement and how to do pricing.

How to Secure Coaching Business
This segment uncovers the secrets of how to become a huge success in the coaching industry. You will learn to sell, prospect for clients and get yourself known. You will go through the 6-Step Sales cycle. Learn how to leverage to increase your coaching income and have more free time. Master a proven blueprint of how to sell yourself as a coach.

Note: Every scholar will be required to submit their personal marketing plan and, either individually or as a team, carry out at least one project which involves selling and marketing your coaching services.

Part 3: The CPC Mentorship Programme

The mentorship phase of the programme not only provides scholars with guidance and direction, but supports real-life coaching to build up practical experience of the scholar. The mentors will work closely with you to help you acquire the competencies quickly and get into the coaching profession in the shortest time possible. There will be opportunities to conduct actual coaching sessions that have either been secured by scholars themselves or by the company.

 

A dynamic 12-month Career Development Programme that provides mentorship, training, a support system and tools to enable you to become a Professional Coach.

Upon completion of the CPT course and meeting the standards, scholars will be awarded the status of Certified Professional Coach from the International Professional Managers Association, United Kingdom and will be authorised to use the title CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL COACH. (IPMA, U.K.) www.ipma.co.uk
